On 17th March the UK All-Party Parliamentary Group on Population, Development and Reproductive Health and EPF organised a conference on "The EU: a global player in health and development?" at the House of Commons, Westminster. The focus of the meeting was global health - including sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) and population - and how EU Member States will be able to fund the EU's development agenda in times of austerity. |

The European Parliamentary Forum on Population and Development (EPF) and the Brussels partners of the Action for Global Health Network (AfGH), together with MEP Eva Joly, Chair of the European Parliament's Development Committee, and the Gree/EFA Group in the European Parliament hosted the EPF Parliamentary Conference and the AfGH Cross-Europe High Level Conference: "Delivering the Right to Health with the Health Millennium Development Goals" which took place on the 1st and the 2nd of March 2010, in the European Parliament in Brussels. Both conferences explored what concrete actions European decision-makers can undertake to ensure that the health MDGs are achieved and all citizens in developing countries have access to quality health care. |

| Young Decision Makers produce strong declaration on reproductive health, supplies and family planning |

The Danish Family Planning Association, Sex and Samfund (S&S) and the European Parliamentary Forum on Population and Development (EPF) organised a Young Decision Maker’s seminar on 30-31 January in Copenhagen, Denmark that was held in the framework of the Countdown 2015 Europe Project, of which EPF and S&S are members. The seminar brought together more than 30 Young Decision Makers in leadership positions in the youth sections of their political parties across Europe. |

On 12-13 September, EPF and UNFPA Georgia organised the Second South Caucasus Youth Reproductive Health and Rights Forum, which took place in Batumi, Georgia and was hosted by the local Adjaran Government and Batumi City Hall. More than 70 participants from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia and other European countries, including Government representatives, Parliamentarians, international organisations, such as UN and EC, civil society representatives and young people gathered in Batumi. |
