On 18 - 22 July EPF in cooperation with its sister networks and the support of UNFPA organised a Parliamentary Side Event on the Integration of SRHR and HIV/AIDS, followed by the 4 days visit to the World AIDS Conference, and various field visits and related activities. The delegation comprised of 20 Parliamentarians and Young Decision Makers from Africa, Asia, Europe and Latin America.

With more than 3.000 participants, Women Deliver 2010 was the largest gathering on women’s health in more than a decade. Next to Ministers and First Ladies, health experts, UN representatives, advocates and youth representatives, this year’s Women Deliver Conference that was held in Washington, D.C. from 7-9 June 2010 also hosted a Parliamentarians’ Forum for the first time. The European Parliamentary Forum on Population and Development (EPF) in co-operation with the Asian Forum of Parliamentarians on Population and Development (AFPPD), the Forum of African and Arab Parliamentarians on Population and Development (FAAPPD) and the Inter-American Parliamentary Group (IAPG) brought more than 50 Parliamentarians to Women Deliver 2010.

Two weeks prior to the G8 and G20 Meetings in Canada, the European Parliamentary Forum on Population and Development (EPF) in co-operation with the Asian Forum of Parliamentarians on Population and Development (AFPPD), the Forum of African and Arab Parliamentarians on Population and Development (FAAPPD) and the Inter-American Parliamentary Group (IAPG) brought over 40 Parliamentarians to the Sixth Annual Summit “Balancing the Scales of Women’s Lives in the Countdown to 2015".

The fourth International Parliamentarians’ Conference on the Implementation of the ICPD Programme of Action (IPCI/ICPD) was held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia from 27 to 29 October 2010.

Two weeks before the G8 Summit in L’ Aquila, Italy, more than 100 Parliamentarians, representatives and experts of International Organisations and civil society organisation gathered for the fifth annual G8 Parliamentarians’ Conference, held in Rome, Italy from 22-23 June 2009. This year the participants from the G8-countries, as well as from Africa and Asia, focused their discussions on “Strategic Investments in Times of Crisis – The Rewards of Making Women’s Health a Priority”.

On May 30/31, DSW, EPF and DSW’s Parliamentary Advisory Committee welcomed around 130 participants in the German Parliament (Bundestag) to discuss the important topic of "Economic Rewards of Investing in HIV/AIDS Prevention and Health".

 The third International Parliamentarians’ Conference on the Implementation of the ICPD Programme of Action (IPCI/ICPD) was held in Bangkok, Thailand from 21 to 22 November 2006.
 

The G-8 International Parliamentarians’ Conference on Development in Africa brought together members of Parliament and other key decision makers from G-8, African, and European nations to discuss the development challenges facing the African continent. The Scottish Parliament hosted this high level event in Edinburgh conference in on June 6 and 7, 2005. 

 The Second International Parliamentarians’ Conference on the Implementation of the ICPD Programme of Action (IPCI/ICPD) was held in Strasbourg, France from 18 to 19 October 2004 and organised by EPF and UNFPA in collaboration with the Council of Europe.

The first International Parliamentarians’ Conference on the Implementation of the ICPD Programme of Action (IPCI/ICPD) was held in Ottawa, Canada, from 21 to 22 November 2002.

The European Parliamentary Forum on Population and Development (EPF) and Väestöliitto (The Family Federation of Finland) organised a 10 member Parliamentary Delegation to participate in the XVII International AIDS Conference 2008, including a mini study tour on sexual and reproductive health supplies.

EPF had been invited by women deliver to facilitate a Parliamentary Dialogue on: “Women’s Health: Parliamentary Initiatives across the regions of the world” which was organised in co-operation with the Asian Forum of Parliamentarians on Population and Development (AFPPD), the Inter-American Parliamentary Group on Population and Development (IAPG), and the Forum of African and Arab Parliamentarians on Population and Development (FAAPPD).
