EPF Executive Committee Meets in Brussels

BRUSSELS - The new EPF Executive Committee assembled in EPF's Brussels office for their first official meeting in Brussels, where members discuss the background, origins, and current activities of the parliamentary forum.

This was a fruitful day where members could look at the past, present, and future of the European Parliamentary Forum, and discuss recent activities such as the 2019 Contraception Atlas launch, the proposed plans for this year's conferences, study tours and other events, and our latest research into sexual and reproductive rights in Europe, development aid for RMNCAH, and anti-SRR movements.

In attendance was EPF President Hon. Petra de Sutter, MP (Belgium) and one of the two vice-Presidents Hon. Petra Bayr, MP (Austria) as well as Executive Committee members: Hon. Dovilė Šakalienė, MP (Lithuania), Hon. Ulla Sandbaek, MP (Denmark), Hon. Alice Mary Higgins, MP (Ireland), Hon. Florian Dorel Bodog, MP (Romania), Hon. Hedi Nordby Lunde, MP (Norway), and virtually present, Hon. Hanna Sarkkinen, MP (Finland).
