The event is co-hosted by Members of the European Parliament Elżbieta Łukacijewska (EPP, Poland), Alexandra Geese (Greens/EFA, Germany), Lucia Yar (Renew Europe, Slovakia), and Joanna Scheuring-Wielgus (S&D, Poland).

Running from 16:00 to 18:00 CEST in room SPAAK 7C50, the event will also be accessible online. Watch the live streaming from the European Parliament: https://app.livecasts.eu/launch-of-the-next-wave-report-on-anti-gender-movement/program

EPF Executive Director Neil Datta will present key findings from the report, which offers a detailed look at how the anti-gender movement in Europe has evolved over the past five years, including shifts in strategy, structure, and funding. Joining him will be Professor David Paternotte of Université libre de Bruxelles, one of Europe’s leading experts on gender studies, who will provide an academic analysis of the report’s implications.

Described as EPF’s most comprehensive investigation to date, The Next Wave builds on previous research to expose the growing threat posed by anti-gender and religious extremist networks to gender equality and reproductive rights across Europe.
