YEREVAN - Ara Babloyan, the chair of the Armenia APPG has been elected as chair of the National Assembly of Armenia. He has been chair of the APPG since its creation. Hon. Babloyan is a member of the Republican Party of Armenia.
In 1971 Hon. Babloyan graduated from the Faculty of Paediatrics of Yerevan State Medical University and served as Minister for Health from 1991 to 1997.
