STRASBOURG - EPF presented the 2017 Contraception Atlas to parliamentarians attending the June sitting of the Parliamentary Assembly at the Council of Europe (PACE). Parliamentarians from Andorra, Belgium, Denmark, Luxembourg, Sweden and the UK attended the briefing.

The Atlas is a map that scores 45 countries throughout geographical Europe on access to modern contraception and reveals considerable inequalities in access throughout Europe. Members of Parliament in attendance appreciated the information, expressed their full support and brainstormed the ways of improving the situation at country level and possible initiatives at PACE. Three of the parliamentarians recorded short video messages emphasising the importance of access to contraception.
