BRUSSELS - Hon. Heidi Hautala, MEP Co-chair of the European Parliament Working Group on Reproductive Health, HIV/AIDS and Development has been elected as Vice President of the European Parliament.
Hon. Hautala, a member of the Greens/EFA group in the parliament was Development Minister in Finland from From 2011 – 2013. She replaces Ulrike Lunacek, as Vice-President of the European Parliament.
