Germany: Reformed APPG meets for the first time

BERLIN - The reformed APPG on population and development met in Berlin, where they had an eventful first meeting in this legislative period. Hon. Frank Heinrich, MP who is the APPG’s Chair moderated the meeting. Renate Bähr, DSW’s director presented the APPG’s achievements in the past and made the case for investing in sexual and reproductive health and rights and gender equality to achieve sustainable development with a human rights-based approach. EPF’s Manuela Smolinski presented the upcoming activities and objectives of the parliamentary network.
