ZAGREB – Hon. Bojan Glavašević, MP (Croatia) raised a question in the Croatian parliament regarding the funding of ultra-conservative movements such as Agenda Europe. This discussion comes in the wake of protests in the country against the Istanbul Convention and its supposed threat to so-called “family values.” The response detailed the ties which numerous Catholic, Protestant and Orthodox ultra-conservative organisations have long held, and the pressing need for governments to protect and uphold their human rights specifically referencing the findings of EPF’s ‘Restoring the Natural Order’ report. It stated that an estimated 50 organizations from 30 European countries hold secret meetings "without journalists" each year.

They discussed the report’s message that the main challenge of Agenda Europe to overcome the effects of the "cultural revolution," and the idea that these ultra-conservative movements wish to undo the progress already made for human rights and bodily autonomy, specifically referencing the right to abortion, family planning facilities and equal marriage rights.
