STRASBOURG - EPF Secretary, Neil Datta, and Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) Professor, David Paternotte spoke today at the Conference of the International NGOs of the Council of Europe about the forces behind mobilisation against Istanbul Convention.
The Conference of the International NGOs brings together NGOs holding participatory status at the Council of Europe who contribute to the decision-making process at the Council of Europe and to the implementation of its programmes. Other panellists included Liri Kopaçi-Di Michele, Secretary of the Monitoring Mechanisms of Istanbul Convention, Committee of the Parties, GREVIO who shed lights into the current challenges of the signing and ratification process of the Convention. Jointly panellists and seminar participants discussed ways to advance on ratification and implementation of the Convention.
