BRUSSELS - 51 Members of Parliament wrote a letter to First Vice President of the European Commission, Frans Timmermans and Věra Jourová, Commissioner for Justice, Consumers and Gender Equality, regarding their concern towards US Christian right and fundamentalists funding extremist purposes in Europe.
In the letter, MPs drew attention to EPF’s own research, “Restoring the Natural Order: The religious extremists’ vision to mobilize European societies against human rights on sexuality and reproduction” as well as recent media coverage on the issue.
