Last week, at the EPF’s conference in Warsaw, Commissioner Helena Dalli addressed the attendees- MPs from Parliaments across Europe- on sexual and reproductive rights.
She acknowledged the significance of the gathering at this particular moment in Warsaw- on the occasion marking one year since the radical restrictions on abortion were put in place in Poland.
She commended the European Parliamentary Forum on Sexual and Reproductive rights for providing the “much-needed space to bring gender equality and healthcare to the public debate”.
She also recalled her recent contribution to the European Parliament plenary- "High quality sexual and reproductive health services are essential to both women and girls as well as men and boys."
