
The European Parliamentary Forum for Sexual & Reproductive Rights (EPF) is recruiting a programme and finance coordinator for a full-time position.
Job description
The Programme and Finance Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the technical and financial management of a range of political advocacy projects in the field of reproductive health within the European Parliamentary Forum on Sexual and Reproductive Rights. Primary tasks include:

Coordinating input from financial and accounting system to comply with financial reporting templates of donors (UNFPA, WHO, BMGF, private donors);

Ensuring compliance with donor financial and technical obligations;

M&E of the existing projects based on the Donors’ Performance Monitoring Frameworks;

Overseeing accounting operations and cash-flow for projects and the organisation as a whole.
Ensuring compliance with financial and reporting obligations of each project will be a prominent feature of this position. Experience with financial reporting on large grants, combined with expertise using Excel, are therefore required. The Programme and Finance Coordinator will work in close collaboration with the Administrative and Finance Assistant to extract key data from the organisation’s accounting system to produce accurate financial reports for internal and external use.
Skills & Qualifications
Essential:

Proven background in advocacy project coordination, in particular financial and budget management;

Strong numerical and financial skills and familiarity with associated software, including good knowledge of MS Excel;

Fluent English (French and other languages are an asset);

Impeccable attention to detail; flexible, proactive and resourceful with good organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities;

Willing to travel occasionally;

Commitment to EPF’s vision and mission;

Must be able to legally work in Belgium, as EPF is unable to sponsor visas (Brussels based position).
Desirable:

Proven experience related to accounting;

Familiarity with not-for-profit organisations, especially with Belgian AISBL;

Knowledge of international development and Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights.
