The European Parliamentary Forum for Sexual and Reproductive Rights (EPF) presented the Contraception Policy Atlas Europe 2023 at the Polish Parliament in Warsaw on Wednesday, 15th of February 2023.
The speakers of the event were MP Joanna Scheuring Wielgus, MP Wanda Nowicka, MP Katarzyna Kotula, Ms Agata Diduszko Zyglewska (City Council member) as well as EPF Executive Director Neil Datta, Ms Antonina Lewandowska (FEDERA) and Mr Remigiusz Bak (EPF).
Poland is the last European country in the ranking of the Contraception Policy Atlas Europe 2023. The country does not have coverage schemes within the Polish national health system and neither does it have special arrangements for young or vulnerable groups. Likewise, consultations are not covered within the national health systems and there is an absence of government-supported websites on contraception.
